Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various psychiatric disciplines, including Mental Health psychiatry and crisis management, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. This role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing psychotherapy to patients across different age adults. The Psychiatrist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive mental health services are delivered effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, incorporating psychopharmacology when necessary.
  • Provide psychotherapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and crisis management techniques.
  • Deliver care in outpatient settings, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
  • Work with individuals with developmental disabilities and provide specialized care for PTSD .
  • Engage in telehealth consultations as needed, adapting treatment approaches for virtual platforms.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and effective data collection for ongoing treatment evaluation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices within the behavioral health field.

Experience

  • · 3+ years’ experience as an Psychiatrist
  • Valid DEA with X-Number
  • Valid Psychiatrist license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Post-residency experience in Mental Health psychiatry is required.
  • Familiarity with outpatient clinic operations and mental health counseling practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage crises effectively while providing empathetic patient care.
  • Knowledge of psychopharmacology and experience with medication management for various psychiatric conditions.
  • Strong understanding of medical records management and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $200.00 - $220.00 per hour
