We are seeking a skilled telehealth psychiatrist to join our team! As a psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing health care services to patients with behavioral and mental health conditions.

Precise Behavioral (Precise) was established to revolutionize the behavioral healthcare ecosystem for patients, providers, and health plans. Precise is a physician-owned and led organization that enables a mix of digital, telehealth, in-person, and community resources for improved patient outcomes.

Scope of Service: Psychiatrist will be responsible for OnDemand consultations to patients in the Emergency Department and Med-Surg unit for 6 hospitals in Florida.

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Responsible for conducting ED OnDemand consults for patients.
• Conduct approximately 40-50 patient consults per month
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Provide medication recommendations and monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Prescribe medications as necessary

Schedule:

• We provide 24/7 coverage, so the shifts are either 6-hour or 12-hours in a 24-hour period.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of a psychiatry residency program
• Must be board certified in psychiatry
• Must have current or recent inpatient experience in an acute care facility
• Valid MD/DO in the state of Florida
• Active FL DEA

Pay: $100.00 - $125.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 18 per week
