Psychiatrist

Progressive Consumer Counseling Services is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adult and child/adolescent clients in an outpatient setting. This is a hybrid position, with most services delivered via HIPAA-compliant telehealth and scheduled in-office coverage twice per month.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for adult and child/adolescent clients
• Diagnose mental health conditions using DSM-5-TR criteria
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications
• Complete Mental Status Exams (MSE) and AIMS assessments as clinically indicated
• Collaborate with therapists, nurse practitioners, and clinical leadership on treatment planning
• Develop and support person-centered treatment plans
• Provide education to clients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and side effects
• Participate in scheduled on-site clinical days and virtual team meetings
• Coordinate care with primary care providers, inpatient facilities, and other community partners
• Respond to clinical concerns and support crisis planning as needed
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic health record
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CARF, DBHDD, and professional standards

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $200.00 - $225.00 per hour
