Job Title: Psychiatrist

Location: 5435 E. 16th St., Indianapolis, IN 46218

Schedule: 20 hours per week (Two 7.5-hour days + One 5-hour day; flexible across 3 days)

Duration: 13 weeks

Job Summary:

The Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric services including patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and patient/family education. The role supports adult patients within a state-operated psychiatric hospital and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality mental health care.

This position also supports clinical leadership, program development, and institutional governance while maintaining the highest professional standards of psychiatric practice.

Required Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry
• Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Indiana
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program
• CPR certification
