Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients across outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and behavioral interventions.
- Provide evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and crisis management techniques.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, social workers, nurses, and primary care providers to coordinate patient care.
- Manage medication regimens responsibly while monitoring for side effects and efficacy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
- Engage in patient education regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication adherence.
- Participate in intake assessments for new patients and conduct follow-up evaluations to track progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
- Post-residency experience with a focus on behavioral health, including outpatient, inpatient, or clinic settings.
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications, psychotherapeutic techniques, and diagnostic evaluation methods.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, geriatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and providing remote psychiatric services is advantageous.
- Proven ability to handle crisis situations effectively through crisis management skills.
- Excellent communication skills for patient care discussions and medical documentation; understanding of medical terminology is essential.

Pay: $275,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
