Psychiatrist Medical Director

Supervising Medical Director / Psychiatrist (Part-Time)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to serve as a Supervising Medical Director for our growing outpatient psychiatric practice. This is a low time commitment, high-impact leadership role ideal for a physician seeking supplemental income with minimal clinical burden.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision and collaboration for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) and/or Physician Assistants (PAs) in accordance with Georgia regulations
• Be available for consultation and case review as needed
• Review and sign off on Schedule II medications when required
• Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal guidelines
• Participate in brief weekly clinical oversight (approx. 2–4 hours/week)

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with completion of Psychiatry residency
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist
• Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license
• DEA license with Schedule II prescribing authority
• Experience supervising or collaborating with advanced practice providers preferred

Compensation:

• Competitive monthly stipend or hourly rate (based on experience and involvement)
