Psychiatrist Social Worker II

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for Psychiatric Social Workers to support a SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) Emergency Response Grant Program. The program is inclusive of mental health and substance abuse prevention, response and recovery services, and fills behavioral health service needs that do not fit existing behavioral health resources. In this case, services will be targeted to those impacted by the Altadena Fire.

The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through 6/30/26.
Positions will be full-time Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm and will be a combination of office work based in Altadena and fieldwork including providing support at various community events.

Pay Rate: 42.29

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
  • A Master's degree from an accredited school of social work with current experience performing professional social work services in connection with the treatment of clients in need of mental health services.
LICENSE:
  • A valid and active Associate Clinical Social Worker registration issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Behavioral Sciences. Master of Social Work graduates must be registered as an Associate Clinical Social Worker with the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Behavioral Sciences. Associate Clinical Social Workers must remain in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences for the duration of the waivers permitted by law. The waivers allow you up to four (4) years, if employed full-time, or six (6) years, if employed less than full-time to obtain your license.
  • A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
