Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner

About the Role

We’re expanding and seeking a psychiatric provider to deliver psychiatric evaluations and medication management with a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and an understanding of autism/neurodivergence. This role is ideal for someone who values thoughtful assessment, collaborative treatment planning, and respectful care.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations (including diagnostic assessment and differential diagnosis)
• Provide medication management and follow-up care
• Integrate a trauma-informed approach into assessment and treatment
• Provide neurodiversity-affirming care with attention to autism presentation across lifespan
• Coordinate care with therapists and external providers (with releases)
• Maintain accurate documentation consistent with standards and regulations

Required Qualifications

• One of the following:
• MD/DO (Psychiatrist) licensed/eligible in Oklahoma
• PMHNP with psychiatric prescribing authority in Oklahoma
• PA with psychiatric experience and prescribing ability per Oklahoma regulations/collaborative agreement
• Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
• Comfort working with trauma histories and neurodivergent clients (including autism)
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and ethical standards

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience with autism assessments/screening tools (within scope)
• Experience with complex trauma, dissociation, ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders
• Familiarity with collaborative care models and therapist coordination

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $13,000.00 - $156,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
