Job Purpose
To provide psychological counselling and emotional support to individuals and couples undergoing fertility treatment, helping them cope with stress, anxiety, treatment outcomes, and decision-making during the IVF journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and couple counselling to patients undergoing IVF, IUI, and related fertility treatments
- Conduct pre-treatment psychological assessments and readiness evaluations
- Offer emotional support during critical stages such as stimulation, egg retrieval, embryo transfer, pregnancy loss, or treatment failure
- Counsel patients on stress management, anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship concerns
- Support patients in third-party reproduction cases (donor eggs/sperm, surrogacy – if applicable)
- Educate patients on coping strategies, lifestyle changes, and mental well-being
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, embryologists, and care coordinators to ensure holistic patient care
- Maintain confidential patient records and counselling notes as per hospital and ethical guidelines
- Conduct group counselling sessions / workshops when required
- Follow ethical standards, confidentiality norms, and hospital policies
- Assist in patient education programs and awareness sessions
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Psychology / Counselling Psychology / Clinical Psychology
- RCI registration (preferred, if applicable)
- Certification or training in infertility counselling will be an added advantage
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience as a Psychological Counsellor
- Prior experience in IVF / Fertility / Healthcare / Hospital setup preferred
- Freshers with relevant internship exposure may be considered

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
