Position Title: Psychologist (Islamic Counselling & General Therapy)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Psychologist with expertise in Islamic Counselling as well as general therapeutic practices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong command of both modern psychological principles and Islamic perspectives on mental health and personal well-being.

In addition to counselling responsibilities, this role requires the psychologist to independently create and record professional video content for our social media platforms. The selected candidate should be confident, articulate, and presentable, as they will serve as the face of the organization’s online presence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Make content integrating Islamic values with contemporary psychological approaches.
2. Develop and deliver educational and awareness-oriented video content on mental health, emotional well-being, and Islamic counselling topics.
3. Record, manage, and submit high-quality video content suitable for publication across digital and social media platforms.
4. Represent the organization confidently and professionally as an on-screen spokesperson.
5. Plan and contribute to workshops, webinars, and awareness initiatives related to mental and spiritual health. (optional)
6. Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, ethics, and professionalism in all counselling and public engagements.
7. Stay informed of emerging trends, research, and developments in psychology and Islamic mental health.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology or a related field.
Strong understanding of Islamic principles relevant to mental and emotional health.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and confidence on camera.
Ability to record and present content independently with minimal supervision.
Fluency in English and Urdu; Arabic proficiency will be a plus.
