Summary

We are seeking dedicated CPSE Evaluators to join our team in Queens, NY. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to our mission of enhancing the educational experiences of children with special needs through comprehensive evaluations and tailored recommendations.
Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for children enrolled in CPSE programs.
• Collaborate with families and educators to develop individualized educational plans.
• Analyze assessment data and provide actionable insights for child development.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss evaluation results.
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations and recommendations.
• Provide training and support to staff regarding evaluation processes.
• Stay updated on best practices in special education and evaluation techniques.
• Foster a supportive environment that encourages family involvement.
• Qualifications
• Master's degree in special education or related field.
• Proven experience in conducting evaluations for children with special needs.
• Strong understanding of early childhood education principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations regarding special education services.
• Experience working directly with families of children with disabilities is preferred.
