Job Overview
Looking for contract TX LPC, LPC-A, LMSW, or LCSW to join private practice in Northeast El Paso. Work schedule includes days and two evenings a week (two evenings Monday-Thursday). Looking for individuals who are client oriented, motivated, organized, and attentive to details. LPC-S on site to provide contract LPC-A supervision if needed.
Duties
- Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand clients’ mental health history, current concerns, and treatment goals using ICD-10 coding standards for documentation.
- Develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver individual or couple counseling sessions tailored to clients’ unique needs.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during acute episodes or emergencies.
- Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to provide remote therapy sessions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and medical records security.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams if needed.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and progress notes using ICD coding utilizing DSM5 and ensure timely submission of clinical research data when applicable.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations for mental health disorders and substance use issues utilizing diagnostic tools aligned with CPT coding standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in clinical research activities and staying current with best practices in behavioral health treatment approaches.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure LPC, LPC-A, LMSW, or LCSW.
- Experience providing psychotherapy across diverse settings.
- Familiarity with crisis management protocols and crisis intervention strategies for acute mental health episodes.
- Excellent communication skills for intake assessments, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Proficiency in terminology related to behavioral health; understanding of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for accurate documentation.
- Ability to utilize telehealth platforms effectively while maintaining HIPAA compliance; experience with medical records management is preferred.
- Commitment to ethical standards of confidentiality and patient care; ongoing engagement in clinical research or continued education is a plus. Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
