We are pleased to announce the following available position: PT Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer and leadership team as needed. They are responsible for producing assigned correspondence; answering and screening telephone calls, providing information or referring to appropriate staff, taking message; opening, scanning, distributing, as appropriate, the Chief Executive Officer’s mail, and disposing of routine correspondence, setting up meetings and appointments, taking meeting minutes, arranging special conferences and special projects as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.
The Administrative Assistant assembles, and summarizes materials, information, and data for the Board of Governors, and River Point Behavioral Health’s consideration and action; may take and transcribe dictation of confidential, technical, and/or legal material requiring high degrees of accuracy; records and transcribes proceedings of meetings and conferences. The Administrative Assistant types Quarterly Goals and Objectives, the month Chief Executive Officer Reports, and the annual Business Plan and related documents for submission to Universal Health Services (UHS) Corporate Offices.
Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma, some college coursework preferred.
Experience: Five (5) years of secretarial/administrative assistant experience preferred; one (1) year experience in health care field preferred.
Skills: Type 65 wpm; proficiently with computer and Dictaphone. Proficient in Microsoft Word products including: Word, Excel. PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage and prioritize multiple job functions and projects simultaneously; ability to utilize confidentiality and tact in the disposition of administrative problems and all other facets of the position.
Physical Requirements: Position requires extensive sitting, typing and medium walking and/or standing.
