PT-Maintenance Tech /Crowne Plaza Dulles Airport - Herdon VA

What You’ll Do:

We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to ensure the hotel’s facilities, guest rooms, and equipment are well-maintained and operating efficiently. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, responding to guest service requests, troubleshooting issues, and completing preventive maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate has basic skills in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, is detail-oriented, and provides excellent customer service.

Here’s a snapshot of a typical day:

• Responding to guest maintenance requests
• Performing routine repairs and preventive maintenance
• Inspecting hotel rooms and common areas
• Troubleshooting basic plumbing, electrical, and equipment issues
• Ensuring all areas are safe, clean, and in working condition

Where You’ve Been:

You are someone who can communicate clearly with guests and team members, learn quickly, stay calm under pressure, and work independently with limited supervision. Basic maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, or general repairs is helpful, but not required.

When You’re Here:

This is not a job where you sit behind a desk. Be prepared to move around because more than half of the time you will be standing/sitting, carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs and more.
