We’re seeking a part-time or full-time PTA to serve patients in East County and surrounding areas.
Position Summary:
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides therapy services as planned, delegated, and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist. This role helps patients regain mobility and function while delivering compassionate, one-on-one care in a home health setting.
- Follow and implement the Plan of Care as established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Prepare accurate daily progress notes for treatments provided (to be reviewed and signed by the PT)
- Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations
- Submit all visit records and documentation in a timely manner
- Attend in-service and on-the-job training sessions as required
- Follow Aspire Home Healthcare’s established policies and procedures
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in CA
- Minimum of 1 year of PT/PTA experience preferred
- Experience with OASIS and WellSky (Kinnser) strongly preferred
- Current Physical Exam (within last 6 months)
- Current TB test (within last 12 months) and CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to attend a 3-day orientation at our San Diego office
