Public Accounting Manager

<Overview>

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Accounting Manager to join our team. As an Accounting Manager, you will manage bookkeepers acting as our client's outsourced accounting department, complete clean ups for clients with messy books, develop procedures for ongoing accounting work and be the contact for clients.

Ideal candidates will have strong experience in public accounting, experience managing bookkeepers, possess strong analytical and accounting skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

<Responsibilities>

• Complete bookkeeping work as needed
• Work with new clients to complete clean ups and develop ongoing procedures
• Train bookkeepers on new client accounts
• Review accounting work completed by Bookkeepers to ensure all income, expenses, and financial activities have been correctly recorded.

<Skills>

• Must have experience in public accounting with a strong background in corporate accounting practices.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and direct reports
• Proficient in using accounting software, particularly QuickBooks Online and Desktop, for managing client accounts.
• Must have management, supervisory, and/or leadership experience
• This is not a training position, you must be able to do clean ups, create procedures and manage staff on day 1.
