Job Summary
We are seeking proactive and detail-oriented Public Adjusters to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as a vital advocate for policyholders, expertly managing insurance claims related to property damage, fire, theft, or other covered incidents. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate insurance claims, negotiate settlements, and ensure clients receive fair and accurate compensation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your analytical skills, negotiation expertise, and customer service talents to make a meaningful impact for our clients during challenging times.

We have an established relationship with contractors throughout the state who provide us with a steady stream of referrals. Our adjusters are not required to bring in their own claims. Candidates will need to have reliable transportation, a computer, Xactimate subscription, trade specific tools, and be able to get licensed in the state of Mississippi. Fee split is based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate insurance claims by reviewing policy details, damage assessments, and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of claim files to identify potential fraud or discrepancies using fraud prevention and detection techniques.
  • Prepare detailed auto estimates and damage reports utilizing specialized auto estimating software to determine claim values accurately.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters, contractors, and policyholders to reach fair resolutions efficiently.
  • Maintain organized records of all claim activities, correspondence, and documentation using financial software and case management systems.
  • Stay informed on workers' compensation law and regulations to ensure compliance when handling related claims.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by guiding clients through the claims process with clarity, empathy, and professionalism.

Skills

  • Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex policy language and damage reports.
  • Excellent negotiation abilities to advocate effectively for clients while maintaining positive relationships with insurers.
  • Knowledge of workers' compensation law and workers' compensation procedures is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in financial software and auto estimating tools to support accurate claim assessments.
  • Exceptional organizational skills for managing multiple cases simultaneously with attention to detail.

Pay: $1.00 - $200,000.00 per year
