The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Field Adjuster / Business Development Professional to join our growing team. This is a commission-based position with serious earning potential. Your primary focus will be in the field, networking, soliciting, inspecting properties, scoping damage, and preparing precise Xactimate estimates. If you are comfortable talking to people, know how to scope a loss thoroughly, and produce an estimate that holds up, we want to talk.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct thorough on-site inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify and document all damage
  • Develop detailed scopes of work that accurately capture the full extent of each loss, and review the same with our team.
  • Prepare meticulous Xactimate estimates that tell the full story of each loss and support the strongest possible settlement on behalf of our clients
  • Develop a book of business by identifying and engaging prospective clients through canvassing, referral networks, and targeted field outreach
  • Guide clients through the inspection and claims process with empathy and clear communication
  • Participate in carrier negotiations and supplement reviews when needed
  • Represent Claim Concepts’ values in every client and carrier interaction

Qualifications

We welcome candidates from a variety of professional backgrounds. You qualify to apply if you meet ONE of the following:

  • Active Public Adjuster (PA) license, OR
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Independent Adjuster (IA), OR
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a restoration contractor with demonstrated knowledge of property damage scoping and estimating

Please Note: Non-licensed candidates must be able to obtain a Public Adjuster license, which includes successfully passing a background check and meeting all applicable state licensing requirements.

All candidates must also demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in Xactimate (required, see application instructions below)
  • The ability to conduct thorough property inspections and accurately identify all damage
  • Experience preparing complete, precise scopes of work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivation and the ability to manage your time efficiently & independently
  • Comfortable working in the field with some travel
  • A client-first mindset and a commitment to doing the right thing

Compensation

This is a commission-based position with uncapped earning potential. Top performers in the Public Adjusting industry can easily earn six figures - your income is a direct reflection of your effort, skill, and consistency. The more accurate and thorough your work, the more claims close successfully, and the more you earn.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
