Pakistan Solar Association is looking for an exceptional communications professional to become the public face and strategic voice of Pakistan's rapidly expanding solar and renewable energy sector.

This is not a traditional PR role.

Your Mission

As the Public Affairs & Communications Leader, you will spearhead the Association's communications strategy, strengthen industry relationships, build media influence, and position Pakistan Solar Association as the country's leading renewable energy advocacy platform.

You will work directly with industry leaders, government stakeholders, regulators, investors, media professionals, and development partners to create meaningful impact across the energy ecosystem.

What You'll Be Responsible ForStrategic Communications & Public Affairs

• Develop and execute national-level communications and public affairs strategies.
• Shape public narratives around renewable energy, sustainability, and solar adoption.
• Position PSA as the leading voice of Pakistan's solar industry.

Media Relations & Public Engagement

• Build and manage relationships with journalists, editors, media houses, and influencers.
• Lead press conferences, media briefings, interviews, and public engagement initiatives.
• Create compelling stories that generate industry visibility and awareness.

Advocacy & Stakeholder Relations

• Engage with policymakers, government departments, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
• Support policy advocacy efforts and industry representation initiatives.
• Build strong partnerships that advance renewable energy objectives.

Content & Thought Leadership

• Draft press releases, policy briefs, executive statements, reports, speeches, and communication materials.
• Transform technical and energy-sector information into impactful and accessible messaging.
• Drive thought leadership across digital and traditional communication channels.

Digital Presence & Brand Building

• Oversee LinkedIn, website, publications, and social media communications.
• Strengthen PSA's public image and reputation.
• Lead campaigns that increase awareness, engagement, and industry influence.

What We're Looking ForExperience

4–6 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Public Affairs
• Strategic Communications
• Public Relations
• Corporate Communications
• Media Relations
• Reputation Management
• Stakeholder Engagement

Industry Knowledge

Strong understanding of:

• Pakistan's energy and power sector
• Government and regulatory frameworks
• Media ecosystem and public discourse
• Industry advocacy and stakeholder engagement

Proven Track Record

• Successfully leading communication campaigns
• Building media and stakeholder relationships
• Managing corporate or public-sector communications
• Policy communication and public engagement
• Working in dynamic and fast-paced environments
