Public Relation Officer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join our Administration team in Oman. The ideal candidate will manage all government-related tasks, legal procedures, vehicle registrations, and compliance activities while ensuring smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all fleet-related processes including vehicle registration, renewals, transfers, customs clearance, and final disposal/sale.
  • Liaise with government departments, traffic authorities, and courts to resolve issues affecting business operations.
  • Release impounded vehicles from police custody and initiate legal cases against defaulting customers when required.
  • Ensure timely settlement of traffic fines to avoid penalties or operational blockages.
  • Support the Accident Department with accident reports, documentation, and issue resolution.
  • Supervise and manage traffic assistants, ensuring proper delegation, training, evaluation, and motivation.
  • Coordinate with the General Transportation Authority in Oman for permits and approvals as per customer requirements.
  • Work with insurance brokers to manage fleet insurance and related documentation.
  • Obtain advertisement permits for leased vehicles.
  • Support the Credit & Collections team by assisting in recovery of outstanding payments from problematic customers.
  • Prepare NOCs and formal letters to government entities.
  • Perform additional functions and provide branch support across Oman as directed by the Oman Manager.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a PRO in Oman (preferably in the automotive, leasing, or rental industry).
  • Strong knowledge of Oman government regulations, processes, and traffic/transportation authority requirements.
  • Ability to handle legal cases, documentation, and court procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Arabic fluency preferred, English mandatory).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid Oman Driving License required.
  • Ability to manage a team and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RO500.000 - RO600.000 per month
