e are seeking a courteous, proactive, and well-organized Public Relation Officer (PRO) to serve as the primary point of contact between the hospital and patients, attendants, and the public. The PRO will be responsible for enhancing patient experience, addressing concerns, coordinating communication, and maintaining the hospital’s positive image.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for patients, attendants, and visitors.
  • Guide patients through admission, discharge, billing, and appointment processes.
  • Address patient and attendant queries, complaints, and grievances in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, insurance, and administrative departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Assist in patient counseling regarding treatment processes, room availability, and hospital services.
  • Maintain proper documentation of patient interactions, feedback, and complaints.
  • Support hospital marketing and outreach activities when required.
  • Ensure high standards of patient satisfaction and service quality.
  • Handle medico-legal and sensitive situations calmly and confidentially.
  • Uphold hospital policies, ethics, and patient confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Healthcare Management / Public Relations preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience as a PRO or in patient relations (hospital experience preferred).
  • Fluency in Tamil and English (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Patient-centric attitude with empathy and professionalism.
  • Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations.
  • Good coordination and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic computer knowledge (HIS, MS Office).
