Job Summary

The PR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day public relations activities of the organization. This includes managing media relations, developing and implementing PR strategies, and coordinating communication efforts to enhance the company's brand reputation, visibility, and relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media
  • Coordinate all public relations activities
  • Direct the social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests
  • Create content for press releases, byline articles, and keynote presentations
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an ongoing basis.
  • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations -regarding communication strategies surrounding them.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation.

  • Continuously evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in public relations or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing successful PR campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a PR team.
