Key Responsibilities
1. Public Relations & Brand Management
- Develop and implement public relations and communication strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives
- Maintain and strengthen the company’s public image and corporate reputation
- Draft press releases, announcements, speeches, and official communications
- Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all communication platforms
- Monitor public perception and proactively manage reputation risks
2. Media & Communication Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, influencers, and business partners
- Coordinate media coverage for store openings, promotional campaigns, seasonal activities, and corporate events
- Act as a company representative/spokesperson when required
- Handle media inquiries and coordinate crisis communication responses
- Prepare communication content for newspapers, radio, social media, websites, and digital platforms
3. In-Store Communication & Customer Experience
- Coordinate with store operations teams to enhance customer experience and communication flow
- Support customer service teams in handling escalated complaints and public-facing issues
- Monitor customer feedback trends and recommend corrective actions to management
4. Digital Presence & Online Reputation Management
- Monitor and manage the company’s online reputation across social media, Google reviews, delivery applications, and other digital platforms
- Respond professionally and promptly to customer feedback, inquiries, and complaints
- Coordinate with e-commerce and delivery teams to ensure accurate online product representation and communication
- Support digital marketing campaigns and online promotional initiatives
5. Newsletter & Internal Communication
- Plan, prepare, and publish the company’s internal and external newsletters on a monthly or quarterly basis
- Collect updates and content from various departments including operations, HR, finance, and marketing
- Write, edit, and proofread articles, announcements, employee highlights, and feature stories
- Coordinate newsletter design, formatting, and distribution through print and digital channels
- Ensure alignment of newsletter content with corporate messaging and branding standards
- Support internal communication initiatives to ensure employees are informed of company activities, campaigns, and operational updates
6. Event Management & Community Engagement
- Plan and coordinate store openings, promotional events, product launches, and customer engagement activities
- Organize corporate social responsibility (CSR) and community outreach initiatives
- Develop relationships with local communities, schools, organizations, and business groups
- Support local marketing initiatives for individual branches and new store launches
7. Government & Regulatory Liaison
- Coordinate with relevant government authorities and regulatory bodies when required
- Support the processing and follow-up of permits, approvals, and official documentation related to marketing and public events
- Ensure compliance with applicable local regulations and communication standards
8. Crisis & Issue Management
- Manage communication related to product recalls, pricing disputes, quality concerns, food safety incidents, and operational disruptions
- Prepare official statements and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely response and resolution
- Protect and maintain the company’s reputation during crisis situations through effective communication strategies
9. Coordination with Operations & Supply Chain
- Ensure alignment between advertising campaigns and product availability
- Support communication during supply shortages, substitutions, or operational disruptions to minimize customer dissatisfaction

Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in public relations, communications, marketing, or retail promotions
- Experience in supermarket, retail, or FMCG environments is highly preferred
- GCC market experience is considered an advantage
