Established in 1945 Abdul Latif Jameel has dual headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Dubai, and currently has operations in 30 countries employing approximately 11,000 people from more than 40nationalities.
The term Abdul Latif Jameel refers broadly to several distinct, separate and independent legal entities. It is not itself a corporate entity, association or conglomerate run by an overarching parent company but merely refers to a group of distinct and wholly separate legal entities that are collectively referred to as Abdul Latif Jameel.
Main Job Responsibilities:
1 Acting as a trusted communications advisor to ALJ Motors leadership
2 Overseeing the development and execution of ALJ Motors’ communications strategy, and tactical planning
3 Responsible for positioning, promoting and protecting ALJ Motors brand and reputation
4 Liaising with internal teams across business units and markets to ensure PR function is supporting business objectives
5 Develop collaterals for ALJ leadership including but not limited to quotes, internal announcements, speeches, op-eds
6 Support with PR agencies in the development of the company comms key messages and narrative, based on strategic business unit developments, priorities and media analysis
7 Support all business units in press office activities including but not limited to press releases, op-ed, media engagement, speaking opportunities, media training and reactive media enquiries
8 Manage external communications, mainly telling the ALJ stories through earned and occasionally owned and paid channels
9 Manage external (and support internal Comms) announcements including leadership comms, investment and partnership announcements etc.
10 Manage and identify potential media engagement opportunities for leaders and senior executives, including talking points, positioning, and coaching
11 Develop and enhance relationships with key media for core sectors across tier one, newswire, trade contacts locally and internationally
12 Oversee social and traditional media monitoring, analysis and reporting across ALJ Motors business units
13 Manage annual budgets and forecasting for corporate communications departments
14 Shape and narrate ALJ Motors’ transformation toward a multi-modal mobility provider.
15 Spearhead sponsorship strategy aligned with innovation, sustainability and visibility objectives.
Required Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Political Science, Public Relation, Communications, or Business Administration. MBA Degree is preferrable.
8-10 years of PR experience in managing dynamic organization with at least 5 years in a corporate role
High Communication Skills, Hight interpersonal Skills, Business Acumen
English is a Must; Arabic is Highly preferred
