About the Role

We're looking for a PR and Influencer Marketing Specialist who doesn't just have contacts—but knows how to build authentic partnerships that drive real results. This is for someone who understands that influencer marketing isn't about vanity metrics, but about creating content that converts and relationships that last.

What You'll Do

Influencer Strategy & Execution

  • Identify, vet, and negotiate with influencers across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Build and manage a pipeline of micro, mid-tier, and macro influencers aligned with our brand
  • Structure partnership deals that balance creativity with performance expectations
  • Track campaign performance and optimize based on engagement, reach, and conversions

Content Collaboration

  • Brief influencers to create authentic content that resonates with their audience while meeting our objectives
  • Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines without killing the creator's unique voice
  • Coordinate product seeding, gifting campaigns, and paid partnerships
  • Develop creative campaign concepts that influencers actually want to participate in

Relationship Management

  • Cultivate long-term relationships with content creators, not just transactional partnerships
  • Negotiate rates, deliverables, and timelines that work for both parties
  • Manage influencer contracts, payments, and content rights
  • Handle crisis management and maintain brand reputation

Performance & Reporting

  • Track ROI on influencer partnerships using engagement rates, affiliate links, and conversion data
  • Provide regular reporting on campaign performance and insights
  • Test different partnership models (gifting, affiliate, flat fee, revenue share)
  • Use data to inform which creators to work with and scale

Who You Are
Must-haves:

  • Proven track record in influencer marketing with measurable results
  • Existing network of beauty/lifestyle influencer contacts (or demonstrated ability to build one fast)
  • Strong negotiation skills—you know how to structure win-win deals
  • Understanding of content that performs vs. content that just looks pretty
  • Experience with influencer platforms, tracking tools, and affiliate systems
  • Knowledge of FTC guidelines and disclosure requirements

You'll thrive here if you:

  • Have genuine relationships with content creators, not just a spreadsheet of emails
  • Can spot authentic voices vs. inflated engagement
  • Understand the difference between brand awareness and performance marketing
  • Know how to brief creators without micromanaging their creativity
  • Can work independently and move fast
  • Are comfortable with ambiguity and building processes from scratch

Bonus points:

  • Experience in beauty/cosmetics industry
  • Knowledge of AI tools for influencer discovery and content analysis
  • Experience with emerging platforms (TikTok Shop, Instagram Shopping)
  • Understanding of paid social amplification of influencer content
  • Video editing or content creation skills

The Reality

This isn't a role where you send mass DMs and hope for responses. We need someone who understands the creator economy, respects the craft of content creation, and can bridge the gap between brand objectives and authentic storytelling. You'll need to be part strategist, part negotiator, part relationship manager, and always results-focused.
Compensation
Competitive base salary + performance-based incentives tied to campaign ROI and conversions. Details discussed with qualified candidates.
