Job Summary:

The PR Manager will manage and execute public relations strategies focused on financial and economic communications. This role involves handling media relations, preparing financial messaging, and supporting the organization’s reputation through proactive and reactive communication initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement PR plans aligned with corporate and financial communication objectives.
• Support the Head of PR in developing messaging for financial results, market updates, and economic initiatives.
• Coordinate press releases, media briefings, and interviews.
• Maintain relationships with financial journalists and economic media outlets.
• Respond to media inquiries and ensure accurate representation of financial information.
• Monitor media coverage and provide reports to leadership.
• Draft press releases, Q&A documents, and executive talking points for financial topics.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations and Finance teams for accurate disclosures.
• Create thought leadership content on economic trends and company performance.
• Assist in managing communication during financial or regulatory crises.
• Prepare holding statements and FAQs for sensitive issues.
• Track PR campaign performance and media sentiment.
• Provide insights to improve communication strategies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Economics, or Finance.
• 7–10 years of PR experience in financial/economic communications.
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of financial markets and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
