Public Relations Officer

Job Title: PRO cum HR Executive

Location: Salalah, Oman

Industry: Footwear Manufacturing / Recycling Industry

Salary: Up to OMR 1,000 per month (All Inclusive / Depending on Experience)

Job Summary -

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced PRO cum HR Executive to join our team in Salalah, Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all government relations activities, employee documentation, recruitment, and day-to-day HR operations while ensuring compliance with Omani labor regulations.


Key Responsibilities

PRO Responsibilities

  • Process and manage employment visas, labor clearances, residence permits, and renewals.
  • Liaise with government departments including the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Municipality, and other authorities.
  • Handle company license renewals, permits, registrations, and legal documentation.
  • Maintain records of employee visas, labor cards, and other statutory documents.
  • Ensure timely renewal of all company and employee-related documents.
  • Stay updated on changes in Omani labor and immigration regulations.


HR Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR documents.
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases.
  • Monitor attendance, leave records, and employee documentation.
  • Support payroll preparation and employee benefits administration.
  • Handle employee relations and provide HR support to management and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Oman Labor Law.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience as a PRO, HR Executive, or similar role in Oman.
  • Prior experience in the footwear manufacturing or recycling industry is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Omani labor laws, visa processing, and government procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: Up to OMR 1,000 per month.

Preferred Candidate: Candidates currently based in Oman with hands-on experience handling both PRO and HR functions within manufacturing, recycling, or industrial sectors.
