Public Relations Officer (PRO)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all government-related transactions and documentation for the company
  • Process visa applications, renewals, cancellations, and other immigration procedures for employees
  • Manage QID applications, renewals, transfers, and related labor documentation
  • Coordinate with government departments such as Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Municipality, and other authorities
  • Ensure timely processing of company licenses, permits, registrations, and renewals
  • Maintain accurate records of employee legal documents, visas, passports, and official company files
  • Assist in attestation, document clearance, and legal paperwork as required
  • Liaise with external agencies, embassies, and service providers when needed
  • Keep updated with Qatar labor laws, immigration rules, and government regulations
  • Support HR and administration in employee onboarding and compliance matters
  • Prepare reports and updates regarding document status, renewals, and deadlines
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information
  • Perform other government relations and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a PRO or in a similar government relations role in Qatar
  • Strong knowledge of Qatar labor laws, immigration procedures, and government systems
  • Must be fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
  • Valid QID
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential documents responsibly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and online government portals
  • Can join immediately

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time office-based role with field visits to government offices
  • Flexible working hours depending on operational requirements
  • May require overtime based on urgency of transactions
