Reports to: HR Manager / General Manager
Job Purpose
To ensure smooth processing of all government-related documentation (visas, labor permits, licenses, etc.) and provide administrative support to the company. The PRO & Admin is responsible for maintaining compliance with Omani labor and immigration laws while supporting internal administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
Public Relations Officer (PRO) Duties:
- Liaise with government authorities such as the Ministry of Manpower, Royal Oman Police (ROP), and the Directorate General of Passports & Residence.
- Process new employee visas, labor cards, residence permits, and renewals in a timely manner.
- Handle visa cancellations, medical tests, and ID card procedures.
- Ensure company compliance with labor and immigration laws in Oman.
- Maintain accurate records of employee documents (passports, visas, permits, etc.).
- Facilitate smooth onboarding for expatriate employees, including document attestation, translation, and submission.
- Assist in the renewal of trade licenses, CR (Commercial Registration), Chamber of Commerce registration, and Municipality approvals.
- Monitor and ensure all legal documents are up-to-date.
- Administrative Duties:
- Manage office supplies, stationery, and admin procurement.
- Organize and maintain company filing system – both physical and digital.
- Support HR functions like onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and documentation.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare letters, reports, and official documents when required.
- Coordinate with external service providers (cleaning, maintenance, etc.).
- Assist in company events, audits, and ISO documentation if applicable.
Requirements
- Nationality: Omani with valid working visa / NOC.
- Valid Omani driver's license
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a PRO/Admin role in Oman.
- Strong understanding of Omani labor law, immigration procedures, and governmental portals (ROP, Ministry of Labour, etc.).
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Must hold a valid Omani driving license (preferred or required).

- Office-based with frequent visits to government departments.
- May require occasional overtime or off-day duties for urgent matters
