The Opportunity

Tie-In is offering a position that provides expert-level mentorship and hands-on experience for an early-career PR writer who lives in celebrity culture but also cares deeply about humanity and creating social good. With Tie-In, you’ll work closely with our senior leadership and be coached on real publicist thinking: how to craft the most appealing narrative, position stories in the media, write headlines that inspire, and build PR with our celebrity network.

We’re looking for a passionate hire who is culturally fluent in celebrity culture and understands how Gen Z interacts with social media. Our team wants someone who understands content that feels authentic, posts that come off as cringe, and what actually makes people care. If you’re invested in how stories travel, how reputations are built, and how celebrities can move culture and impact, this is the chance for you to turn that energy into real-world PR skills and a portfolio you can grow into an elite career track.

What You’ll Do

• Write and edit PR materials, including pitches, press releases, celebrity x charity narratives, partner spotlights, and newsworthy announcements
• Help shape Tie-In’s brand voice by integrating it within selfless storytelling
• Build pitch angles and story hooks tied to Tie-In’s cultural moments and partnerships
• Support outreach to prospective partners by creating media lists and briefing documents
• Track and report Tie-In’s narrative performance to help guide PR strategy

What We’re Looking For

• A strong writing portfolio (student work ok) with preferred experience in a PR or journalism role
• Rich understanding of celebrity and social media culture
• Proactive communicator comfortable expressing their opinion in diverse groups
• A startup mindset focused on growth, accountability, and self-direction

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
