Public Space Attendant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of public spaces within our establishment, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to service excellence and a passion for cleanliness, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
• Ensure that all surfaces are sanitized and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Monitor and restock supplies in public restrooms and common areas as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down areas for events or functions as required.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure consistency in cleanliness standards across all areas.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or requests related to public area cleanliness.

Skills

• Experience in custodial or industrial cleaning preferred, with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and products.
• Knowledge of floor care procedures, including carpet cleaning, mopping, and polishing hard surfaces.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices within a hospitality setting is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness consistently.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage positively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
