POP’s Public Speaking system develops students through a structured progression from expressive confidence to advanced rhetorical influence. Students learn not only how to present ideas, but how to organize complex thoughts and communicate them effectively.

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Speaking Teacher to join our online teaching team. You will teach small-group and one-on-one classes to students around the world, guiding them in developing structured presentations, persuasive speeches, and confident public expression. This is a new program, so the ideal candidate would be excited about building/developing the program, structure, and curriculum.

This is a remote, part-time position with flexible scheduling and long-term growth potential.

What You Will Do

• Help develop and shape the program and curriculum
• Teach live online public speaking classes using Zoom (usually 90 minutes per week)
• Deliver structured and engaging lessons that work toward clear objectives
• Help students develop structured presentations using clear organizational frameworks
• Teach speech techniques such as pacing, vocal delivery, and audience engagement
• Guide students in writing and delivering persuasive and informative speeches
• Provide feedback on speech content, delivery, and structure
• Help students build confidence and expressive clarity
• Assign and assess speeches and presentation projects
• Track student progress and support their development
• Communicate with students and parents when needed
• Collaborate with POP’s academic team to improve curriculum and teaching quality

Who We’re Looking For (Required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, English, or a related field
• At least 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience
• Ability to develop materials and curriculum for your courses
• Comfortable teaching online using digital tools
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to engage students, build confidence, and provide personal feedback
• Passion for helping students develop expressive skills
• Ability to take initiative, demonstrate reliability, and contribute to the growth of the program and company

Preferred

• Master’s degree in a related field
• Experience teaching public speaking or presentation skills
• Experience coaching speech competitions
• Experience working with middle or high school students
• Experience working with international students

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation based on number of students and teaching load, starting at $80 per 90-minute class, and includes the following:
• Creating your lessons/materials, teaching weekly live class, sending weekly summary email, giving feedback on homework and assignments, attending monthly team meetings
