About the Role
We’re looking for a Publicist (Music) to join our Los Angeles office and lead PR campaigns and media strategy for our roster of music clients. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping narratives, securing high-impact press coverage, and elevating client visibility across entertainment, lifestyle, and cultural media.

This is a full-time, in-office position in El Segundo, CA. We are seeking local candidates ready to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Remote work is not available.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead strategic PR campaigns for music clients, from launch planning to ongoing media engagement.
  • Secure placements across top-tier national, regional, and trade press (music, entertainment, lifestyle, sports).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, producers, and bookers.
  • Draft compelling press materials including pitches, press releases, bios, media alerts, and talking points.
  • Provide on-the-ground media support at client events, festivals, red carpets, and major appearances.
  • Proactively identify story angles, trend moments, and creative opportunities to keep clients in the cultural conversation.
  • Monitor press coverage, prepare client-facing reports, and measure PR campaign success.

What You’ve Done

  • 3+ years of experience in music PR, talent publicity, or media relations (agency or label/management experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven success leading high-profile PR campaigns for artists, labels, or entertainment brands.
  • Deep network of editorial and media contacts across music, entertainment, culture, lifestyle, and digital publications.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft compelling press materials and pitches.
  • Excellent client management skills — comfortable interfacing directly with high-profile talent and their teams.
  • Experience managing red carpets, media days, and live event press coverage.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while balancing multiple campaigns.
