Pump Mechanic

Essential Functions:

Competently perform machine alignment – pumps, compressors, blowers/fans, etc.
Ability to rebuild API, ANSI pumps, compressors, air coolers, steam turbines, gearboxes, etc.
Be trained in or ability to be trained in industrial (forklift) truck, man lifts, etc.
Ability to troubleshoot and identify problems and issues with equipment
Identify and repair problematic parts of a machine
Be able to balance rotating assemblies
Ability to assist in developing maintenance and preventive maintenance procedures and training materials for rotating equipment.
Adherence to Company procedures, policies and industry standards
Perform preventative maintenance activities by identifying and correcting potential issues.
Performs additional tasks and duties as assigned and trained
Knowledge of vibration analysis
Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspections, to prevent breakdowns.
Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions, replacing worn or damaged parts, and troubleshooting complex issues.
Precisely aligning machinery components, such as gears, shafts, and couplings, to ensure smooth operation.
Interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand machinery layouts and specifications.
 Adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations when working with machinery and equipment.
