Pump Technician - 1st Shift
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Prepping parts including but not limited to washing, wire wheeling, sanding, grinding, ect.
- Staging units for assembly
- Prepping units for shipping including but not limited to tagging, plugging, surface cleaning, torque sealing, test reports
- Follows standard work instructions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Attention to detail
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Safety Glasses and steel/safety toed work boots are required.
- Other PPE equipment as required.
- Ear plugs in the clean up area
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing plant shop environment
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
