Job Overview

Motifz Textile Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and experienced Purchaser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sourcing textile machinery parts and managing inventory within a textile manufacturing environment. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, vendor management experience, and the ability to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure textile machinery parts and general inventory items efficiently
• Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with local and international vendors
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings
• Prepare and process purchase orders with accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments to prevent shortages
• Ensure quality, quantity, and on-time delivery of purchased items
• Maintain proper documentation including GRNs, invoices, and purchase records
• Collaborate with accounts and store departments for smooth operations
• Implement cost control measures and procurement best practices
• Maintain vendor performance records and conduct regular evaluations
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in B.Com, BBA, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of textile machinery parts and inventory management
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/inventory management systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure

Experience:

• 5–7 years of relevant purchasing experience
• Prior experience in the textile industry is highly preferred
