Profile- Purchase Assistant

Qualification - Graduate

Experience - Min. 2+ yrs. in Automobile industry in Purchase department.

Salary- Upto 4 Lac CTC

Location- Jaipur (Raj.)

Key Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and source suppliers for raw materials, auto components, tools, and consumables.

Ensure timely procurement as per production schedules.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.

Develop new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.

Conduct vendor audits, capability assessments, and performance evaluations.

Maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers.

Analyze cost structures and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Support in localization of imported parts to reduce costs.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores to avoid shortages/overstocking.

Ensure suppliers meet IATF 16949 / ISO standards and company quality requirements.

Collaborate with the Quality team for supplier quality improvements.

Ensure compliance with statutory and environmental regulations in sourcing.

Work closely with Production, Quality, and R&D teams for smooth operations.

Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and procurement reports.

Provide regular updates on material availability, supplier performance, and cost-saving initiatives.
