Job Summary:
We are seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join our procurement team and assist with the procurement of materials and supplies for our company. The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for processing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring that all materials are received in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Any Degree - with Purchase or Stores experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities:
- Process purchase orders and ensure that all necessary approvals are obtained
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure that materials are delivered on time and at the best possible price
- Review and analyze purchase requisitions to ensure that all necessary information is provided
- Track and monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities
- Monitor and report on vendor performance and make recommendations for improvement
- Assist with the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that procurement needs are met
- Resolve issues and discrepancies with vendors and suppliers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
