Job Summary:

The Purchase Assistant will support the purchase team in sourcing, procuring, and collecting interior materials, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining accurate purchase records. The role involves vendor coordination, quotation follow-up, and assisting in day-to-day purchase activities for interior and site projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect quotations from suppliers and prepare comparison sheets.
  • Assist in identifying suitable vendors for interior materials such as plywood, laminates, hardware, lighting, etc.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and project managers for material requirements.
  • Raise purchase orders and follow up for material delivery and billing.
  • Visit vendors or local markets for material collection or verification as needed.
  • Maintain purchase files, invoices, and payment follow-up records.
  • Support the Purchase Officer/Manager in negotiation and vendor evaluation.
  • Ensure materials are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards.

Required Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of interior materials and vendor sourcing.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and maintaining purchase records.
  • Ability to work independently and handle field tasks when required.
  • Attention to detail and time management.

Qualification:

  • Diploma / Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Knowledge or interest in interior or construction field preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
