Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Procurement Process: Support the Purchase Manager in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, services, and equipment.
- Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Order Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely replenishment.
- Data Analysis: Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze procurement data, create reports, and identify trends.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of purchase orders, invoices, and other relevant documents.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders in Hindi, English & Tamil.
- Cost Control: Assist in cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within the procurement or purchasing department.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (including advanced functions like VLOOKUP, PivotTables, IF Conditions), excellent English and Hindi-speaking skills, and strong organizational skills.
- Language: Fluent in Hindi and English preferred.
