Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Purchasing Officer/Manager in daily procurement activities.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, requisitions, and supplier documentation.
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and confirm delivery schedules.
  • Maintain and update supplier databases and purchase records.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to identify purchasing needs and ensure timely supply of materials.
  • Track and monitor deliveries to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes before submission for payment.
  • Support in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining good supplier relationships.
  • Assist in inventory management and ensure stock levels are adequate.
  • Prepare reports and summaries related to procurement activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain support.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and procurement software/ERP systems.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Work Environment:

Typically office-based, with occasional visits to suppliers or warehouses as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
