Purchase Coordinator – Electromechanical Works (MEP Materials)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Coordinator with experience in MEP materials procurement to support our purchasing operations. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, site teams, and internal departments to ensure timely sourcing, ordering, and delivery of materials for ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in procurement of MEP materials (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing).
• Prepare and send RFQs (Request for Quotations) to suppliers.
• Follow up with vendors for quotations, order confirmations, and deliveries.
• Track material delivery schedules and ensure timely supply to project sites.
• Coordinate with site engineers and project teams for material requirements.
• Maintain records of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier data.
• Update and manage procurement data using MS Excel / ERP systems.
• Resolve basic supplier or delivery issues in coordination with seniors.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–4 years of UAE experience in purchasing coordination within the MEP/electromechanical field.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes related to MEP materials.
• Ability to coordinate with suppliers, site engineers, and internal departments.
• Experience in preparing RFQs, follow-ups, and tracking delivery of MEP materials.
• Basic understanding of MEP materials and project requirements.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Candidates available for immediate joining will be preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (preferred)
• OR Degree/Diploma in Business Administration / Supply Chain / Procurement
