Purchase Engieer - Electrical

We are looking for a Purchase Engineer – Electrical to handle procurement activities for electrical materials and equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure timely purchasing, cost optimization, and supplier coordination while maintaining quality and technical compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure electrical materials (LV/MV switchgear, cables, panels, instruments, etc.)
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate technical & commercial offers, and negotiate prices
• Coordinate with suppliers, engineers, and logistics teams
• Issue purchase orders and follow up on delivery schedules
• Ensure materials comply with project specifications and standards
• Maintain supplier database and purchase records
• Support cost control and budget optimization

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2–5 years experience in electrical purchasing or procurement
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials and suppliers
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Familiar with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
