Purchase Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for raw materials, cutting tools, hardware and secondary processes like hardening, surface treatment etc.,
• Negotiate with vendors for cost, delivery timelines, payment terms, and quality.
• Release purchase orders (POs) in line with production requirements and follow up for on-time delivery.
• Develop a strong vendor base for critical and long lead-time items.
• Build long-term partnerships with strategic suppliers.
• Track vendor performance on delivery, quality, and cost.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education : Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineer
• Vadodara Local candidate preferred

Key skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain planning.
• Familiarity with raw materials and components specific to Mechanical parts manufacturing
• Proficiency in SAP software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹340,000.00 per year
