Purchase Engineer

Key Responsibilities: o Identify and evaluate suppliers for electrical components such as switchgear, transformers, cables, control panels, etc. o Request and Analyze quotations, negotiate pricing and delivery terms. o Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials. o Maintain vendor database and track supplier performance. o Ensure compliance with quality standards and procurement policies. o Analyze and compare vendor quotations - both technically and commercially. o Support site team with technical clarifications and vendor coordination. o Analyze tender documents, RFQs, and client specifications to prepare compliant proposals. o Design preliminary electrical systems and select appropriate equipment based on project needs. o Prepare technical documentation, cost estimates, and BOMs for proposals.
