- Key Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate suppliers for quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in manufacturing or engineering industries.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain, inventory management, and vendor evaluation.
- Proficiency in MS Office; ERP knowledge is a plus.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with vendors to achieve cost savings.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to understand material requirements.
- Monitor vendor performance and maintain supplier relationships.
- Track deliveries and ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Maintain records of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements.
- Assist in resolving procurement-related issues such as delayed deliveries or quality concerns.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
