About the Role

We are a manufacturing company dealing in Hydraulic Presses and Custom SPM Machines. We are looking for a Purchase Assistant to handle procurement of raw materials, bought-out items, and hydraulic components required for our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase of MS plates, structural steel, machining materials, and consumables.
• Procurement of hydraulic valves, pumps, cylinders, hoses, and standard mechanical/electrical bought-out items.
• Sending inquiries, collecting quotations, preparing comparison sheets, negotiating prices.
• Preparing purchase orders as per BOQ, job card, and design requirements.
• Coordinating job-work vendors (machining, fabrication, grinding, honing, painting) with the production team, tracking status, and ensuring timely completion.
• Monitoring PO status, delivery commitments, and vendor follow-ups.
• Maintaining ERP entries: indents, POs, GRNs, pending items.
• Planning procurement as per project timelines for cash-flow efficiency.
• Coordinating with stores, QC, design, and production teams.
• Maintaining and developing vendor database.

Skills Required

• Good knowledge of industrial raw materials & hydraulic components.
• Ability to read basic technical specifications/BOQs.
• Strong negotiation & communication skills.
• Excel and ERP proficiency.
• Strong follow-up, organization & time-management.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
