IDEAL ENGINEERING is a growing manufacturing company based in Chakan, engaged in producing high-quality engineering components. We are expanding our units and looking for a talented and multi-tasking person as purchase engineer to handle procurement process, negotiation with suppliers and contractor, looking after delivery schedule, Inventory and also able to look out for shop store.

■ Skills & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related fields.
• MS Office, Excel

· Candidates must have 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management in engineering/manufacturing industries (Fasteners, Fabrication, Machinery Components)

· Should be able to adapt at fostering relationships, streamlining processes, and driving cost efficiencies.

· A strong understanding of vendor management, industry-specific materials, and cost control is essential.

· Solid negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

· Fluency in English, Hindi, Marathi languages.

· Excellent in email communication

■ Responsibilities:

· Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies based on customer order.

· Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on time deliveries of final product.

· Manage Suppliers performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness.

· Negotiate pricing with vendors.

· Cost control and budgeting

· Sales order generation

· Quotation preparation

· To make sure documents are in the requirement format and according to company norms

· Responsible for Bill of Material (BOM) preparation coordination with quality and purchase department

· Develop and maintain relationships with approved vendors and contractors.

· Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms and safety standards.

• Inventory co-ordination: Minimize stock outs and overstock situations.
• Work closely with stores and inventory teams to align procurement with inventory levels.
• Compliance & Documentation.
