Key Responsibilities:
- Procure items, such as aluminum, MS sheets, angles, and other fabrication mechanical, electrical, semiconductor materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers/vendors.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and accounts departments for smooth operations.
- Prepare and maintain purchase orders, vendor records, and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
Key Requirements:
- Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field preferred.
- 2–5 years of proven experience in procurement/purchasing, especially in steel and fabrication materials.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of local market , material specifications, and cost estimation.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP software and maintain mail drafting.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
