- Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Procurement: Identifying and sourcing materials and services required for construction projects, negotiating contracts, and ensuring quality standards.
- Contract Management: Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best value, analyzing market trends to inform purchasing decisions.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and quality, coordinating with project managers to understand material needs and timelines.
- Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels and managing reorder processes, tracking orders, and managing deliveries.
- Cost Control: Analyzing costs, evaluating financial proposals, and developing cost models to support procurement decisions.
Essential Skills:
- Negotiation and Analytical Skills: Strong negotiation and analytical abilities to secure the best deals and manage costs.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
